"In this episode, chef Ruchi Bharani makes a very nutritious and healthy food called Chana Masala which is popularly known as Spicy Chickpea Salad. Watch the video to learn about this quick & easy recipe! <br /><br />Ingredients: <br />1 Cup soaked green or brown Chickpeas <br />1 Finely Chopped Green Chilli <br />1 Deseeded & Finely Chopped Onions <br />1 Small Finely Chopped Tomatoes <br />1/4 tsp Cumin Seed Powder <br />1/2 tsp Raw Mango Powder (Aamchur Powder) <br />Coriander Leaves <br />1/2 tsp Cumin & Coriander seed powder <br />1/2 tsp red chilli powder <br />1/2 Lemon Juice <br />1 tsp Butter <br />Salt <br /><br />Method: <br />- On a heated Pan put 1 tsp of butter and let it melt. <br />- Add Onions and saute it for a minute <br />- Add tomato and green chilies and mix everything well and cook for a minute more <br />- Toss all the ingredients for next 2mins <br />- Add the boiled chickpeas <br />- Add Aamchur, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, coriander and cumin seed powder, salt, lemon juice and coriander and mix everything well. <br />- Plate it and garnish it with coriander leaves and little more lime juice!
